Dear Community Supporters,
For the past nine years the Tyson Parker Commitment to Life Society has hosted a Dinner and Auction fundraiser to support STARS Air Ambulance’s lifesaving mission to provide safe, rapid, highly specialized emergency medical transport to the critically ill and injured. Two years after that we hosted our first ever golf tournaments at Red Tail Landing Golf Club, which were a great success.
The Tyson Parker Commitment to Life Society was created in 2007 by Tyson Parker, a STARS VIP (Very Important Patient) and his family and friends. It evolved into one of Leduc’s premier fundraising events and celebrates the community of Leduc making a difference in the lives of so many. From the 2017-18 fiscal year 1,452 missions were flown in Alberta from STARS’ three bases located in Edmonton, Calgary and Grande Prairie. Of those three were from the City of Leduc. No patient flown will ever receive a bill for their flight. It is because of our community’s support that STARS is able to provide life-saving services to those who need it most. All funds raised through the Tyson Parker Commitment to Life Society will go directly towards supporting STARS.
On Sunday, June 9th, 2019 please join us at the Whitewood Barn for our 1st Annual Tyson Parker Commitment to Life Farm-to-Fork BBQ. Your ticket will include a buffet style lunch and some great live music provided by Nyquest entertainment. Drinks and bar tending services will be provided by Strong Bartending. If you cannot make and are looking to donate an item for the silent auction, or contributing a cash donation, either would be greatly appreciated.
